Scores by photo: the GSPro scorecard, read for you

Your members play on the simulator the way they always do. Nothing is installed on the simulator PC — no plugin, no add-on. When the round is over they take a picture of GSPro's scorecard with their phone (and of the stats screen, for their stats) and send it from the event page, or from Practice round for a round on their own.

What the app checks

• Every hole, and that the holes add up to the card's own OUT, IN and TOTAL.
• That the card is the course and tee the round is played on.
• The round settings GSPro prints on the card: Play mode Force Realistic, Elevation Global, Mulligans off and Gimmes 6 ft or less. A round that misses one still saves, but it does not count for handicaps, stats, records or Course of the Week — and the member is told which setting it was.
• Anything it cannot read clearly gets a second look. A card it still cannot trust is a retake, never a guess.

Nobody types a score

Members never type a score. A round is put right by sending the photo again, or by deleting it. On an event round the front desk can enter a score by hand when it has to; it is marked as entered by the front desk and never counts for handicaps, stats or records.
