    Is it really free? What's the catch? ▼
    Yes — single-day events are completely free, no card required. You get live scoring, the display board, net handicap scoring, and side games. We make money on multi-day golf trips ($50) and the Facility Pro plan ($149/yr), not on your free events.
    How do handicaps work? ▼
    You bring each player's handicap index — we don't issue official handicaps. Enter the index plus the course slope and rating, and we calculate each player's course handicap using the same World Handicap System math the USGA and GHIN use. Strokes are given on the right holes by stroke index, and net scores are figured automatically.
    How do the ads work? ▼
    Free events are ad-supported: while players enter scores, a brief image ad appears between holes (about seven seconds, roughly every third hole) and never blocks scoring. Two paid options give you control — pay $10 to make one event completely ad-free, or upgrade to a Club event for $50 to run your own sponsor logos on the board and between holes, plus an order-at-the-turn menu players can tap to view and call. Paid events show no third-party ads.
    Do players need to download an app? ▼
    No. Players open a link in their phone's browser, type their name and the event password, and they're in. No account, no download.
    How does the display board work? ▼
    Open the display board URL on anything connected to a TV — a laptop, tablet, or phone with an HDMI adapter. The leaderboard updates on its own as scores come in. Facility Pro adds your branding and sponsor ads that rotate alongside the scores.
    What happens to my data after a free event? ▼
    Free event data clears automatically 48 hours after the event ends, so download your results before then. Paid plans keep all data for the life of your account.
    Does it work for golf simulators? ▼
    Yes — it's built with simulators in mind. No GPS needed, the board looks great on a lounge TV, and Facility Pro includes member management with handicap tracking that updates after every round.
