How to run a golf simulator league
Pick the format, the courses and the dates once. Members play when it suits them, before each deadline.
Set it up once
- Five short steps on your phone: the format; the rounds and the course and tee for each; the entry fee; the rules; a review before it is made. The course you pick is the rule: a card from another course does not count.
- Weekly dates fill in for you from the start date, seven days a round.
- Gross, net or both. An event with both has a prize list for each board.
- Your members are emailed when the event is created.
Each round
On the event page the member sees the round: the course, the tee and the deadline. They tap to start their round, play it, and send the photo in the same card. The standings update by themselves.
Your own page for the event opens on Today: the round, its deadline, how many are in and who is not. One tap reminds only the ones not in yet. The Scores tab shows one round at a time, every player or team with where they stand, and the fix on their own row: type the score they forgot, give them their own time, send their card.
The finish
- The standings show how many rounds each player has in ("Rounds: 1 of 2"). A player still missing a round when the event closes is marked Incomplete and is not in the prizes.
- Ties are settled on the hardest holes — or, if you turn it on, by a play-off for 1st.
- Cuts, skins and prizes for each place are settings of the event.
