Handicaps: a World Handicap System index from simulator rounds
Every round that counts goes into a handicap index worked out the World Handicap System way.
Each member's handicap index is worked out the way the World Handicap System does it: the average of the best 8 Score Differentials of their last 20 rounds (with fewer rounds, the WHS table, from 3 rounds on). The course rating and slope come from the course and tee they played.
Nine-hole rounds count too: each nine becomes an 18-hole Score Differential the WHS way.
Which rounds count
Event rounds and practice rounds alike, played with Play mode Force Realistic, Elevation Global, Mulligans off and Gimmes 6 ft or less. Those settings make a simulator round play like the real thing, so every index is earned the same way.
Forward tees
The front desk can clear a member for forward tees. Their course handicap then comes from the tee they played, and they stay on the same board as everyone else, with the tee shown.
It is your facility's simulator handicap — not an official USGA or GHIN index.
